Toy Story 3... in 3D

My beautiful fiance Lauren (That's right, I said fiance. WooHoo!!!) and I went to see Toy Story 3 the other night... in 3D. It was really good, and I highly recommend it. We had a great time. It was the first time either of us had been to a 3D movie, and it was actually the first time we've been to the movies with just the two of us. Good times, my friends.

Later that night, after the unhealthiest dinner we've probably ever eaten, we got to pick up Joe and Katelyn from the airport, as they were returning from their honeymoon in Malibu. It was really great to see them and hang out some. Joe treated us all to ice cream. Love that guy.

Anyway, there's a little update on the goings on here in Kentucky.

I'm sorry. Could you repeat that? I'm having trouble hearing.

Here's the scenario:

I have to work at Toys R Us from 2:00 to 9:30 today. Keep in mind, this is after being at church from 9:00 to 1:00. Lauren know this, and she also knows that I'm not particularly happy about this fact.

So, at around 5:30, I get a text from her asking if I would be able to answer some bicycle related questions pertaining to the bikes at Toys R Us.

My response? Of couse I can do that! And what do you know? Lauren's out by bikes surprising me with a visit at work.

To top it all off, she also had a pumpkin pie late for me from Starbucks!

I've said it before. I'll say it again. I've got the greatest girl in the entire world. Fo reals.

I've been working on the stage here at Vineyard this afternoon. There's a lot of work left to do. I'm still at the church.

Honestly, I'd like to head home, but we really need to get more done.

I'm kinda the curtains guy. Here's a picture of one half of my curtain job. It's pretty cool, but it's only half.

Sigh... here we go. :)

john mark's "skeleton bones"

another show

That's right.  I've got another show coming up in the not too distant future.  My friend Justin (seen below as Batman) and I will be opening up a concert held at Vineyard on this coming November the 20th.  The main act will be John Mark McMillan, the guy who wrote "How He Loves."

It should be a really good show.  Tickets are $8, but there is a limit of 300, so if you want to get in, you better act fast.

Oh Friday...

Honestly, anymore Friday doesn't really seem like Friday.  When you're getting up at 6:00 or 6:30 in the morning from Friday through Monday, Friday seems a bit more like Tuesday.  But it's no worries.  Such a situation won't last forever.  At least, I hope not.  Or rather, I won't let it.

Anyway, right now I'm just chillin at the house, doing laundry, and playing a bit of guitar.  I get to hang out with Lauren this evening, which I greatly look forward to.  (By the way, Lauren is the girl I keep referencing, the one in the first picture, the one who left the sneaky candy message, "my girl," yeah, that one.  So if you see any more pictures of me with a stunningly beautiful girl who for some reason chooses to hang out with me, it's almost surely her.  I'm a pretty lucky dude.)

Well, I guess I'll get back to whatever it is I'm doing, or not doing.

it's about time

Today I decided to start a blog. I know, big deal. I guess it's just another way to stay "connected" to those I love but have not the mental capacity to be in constant correspondence with.

I hope those of you finding yourselves here enjoy what you find herein. For starters, I'll upload a picture that I enjoy, and that'll be all for now.
